Special Feature: Recipe for Broccoli and Cavatelli
Ingredients:
- 4-5 links of Sweet Italian sausage (you can use chicken or turkey sausage at a substitute like we do, and you probably can make this with hot italian sausage as well)
- 1 large bunch of broccoli cut into florets
- 1 bag of frozen cavatelli (12-16oz)
- 4-5 large garlic cloves chopped
- 1 can chicken stock
- olive oil
Directions:
- Place sausage in baking dish and use fork to poke holes. Bake about 25 mins at 350 degrees.
- In the meantime, place broccoli florets in a pot of water and bring to a boil. Boil about 3 mins, then remove from heat. Transfer broccoli to cold water to shock and stop cooking process.
- Start salted water for pasta.
- A few minutes before sausage is done baking, sautee garlic in olive oil in skillet.
- Follow instructions for pasta. Cook al dente as pasta will cook a bit more later.
- While pasta is cooking, cut up sausage into bite size pieces and sautee in olive oil/garlic in skillet for about 5 minutes. Add about half a can of chicken stock to skillet, simmer and reduce liquid by half.
- Add broccoli to skillet and cook about 5 mins more. You can add more chicken stock if necessary.
- Transfer everything to drained pasta in large pot for easier mixing. Cook all together another 5 minutes. Drain excess chicken stock if desired.
- All times aside from the oven baking are estimated. Just make sure the sausage is cooked thoroughly and the broccoli is soft enough.

Sarah, you have to get “Psychonauts” and play it if you have not played it yet.
I haven’t played Rayman, but it sounds like a similar type of game, and this game, though it hasn’t been given the credit it deserves, is probably one of the most brilliant ‘adventure’ games I’ve played. Jak and Daxter is also fun, but Psychonauts wins out over any I have played.
Keep up the great work guys.

PS:
the new final fantasy coming out (I try to push FF onto everyone so sorry if I seem pushy - plus I just watched Advent Children last night and was in complete awe from the animation). Anway, the new FF has something they call a ‘Gambit’ system where you no longer have to wait for the enemies to do anything. It’s not by any means an ‘adventure’ type game, it’s still keeping to it’s roots, however, with this new system, you set your characters to do certain abilities in order of importance. i.e. you want your healer to attack until one of your guys is below 20% health, then stop everything and heal him/her. .. so basically battles happen MUCH quicker and you no longer have those menus during battle - just before and during your running around.
Peace!

What’s funny is I just watched Advent Children myself on Saturday
I was going through some footage and saw the .avi on my computer and thought “I’ll take a little break”.
Next thing I knew, I’d watched from about halfway through to the end, and then started from the beginning and watched to the halfway point again! It’s such an awesome movie - far and away superior to “the spirit within”.

Kurosh, funny you should mention Psychonauts … I bought it a year ago at my boss’ recommendation after I had mentioned to him that my all-time favorite games are the Lucas Arts games for the PC (Day of the Tentacle, Monkey Island, Full Throttle, etc.). It is definitely my type of game, and I enjoy the humor, but I’ve been disappointed with the game play. It seems like every board is the same, and it’s been very hard on my eyes. I can only play it for short periods of time. However, I should give it another try
If you like Psychonauts I highly recommend Rayman. It’s quite fun! I’m at the very end of Rayman 3 but have yet to beat it … I’m also playing Harry Potter 4 at the moment which is fun because I’m a dork for the franchise, but it’s different from the previous HP games. I should probably finish my current games before jumping on the newest Rayman!
The new FF intrigues me though …
And Advent Children was amazing!
