I bought it a year ago at my boss' recommendation after I had mentioned to him that my all-time favorite games are the Lucas Arts games for the PC (Day of the Tentacle, Monkey Island, Full Throttle, etc.). It is definitely my type of game, and I enjoy the humor, but I've been disappointed with the game play. It seems like every board is the same, and it's been very hard on my eyes. I can only play it for short periods of time. However, I should give it another try ;) If you like Psychonauts I highly recommend Rayman. It's quite fun! I'm at the very end of Rayman 3 but have yet to beat it ... I'm also playing Harry Potter 4 at the moment which is fun because I'm a dork for the franchise, but it's different from the previous HP games. I should probably finish my current games before jumping on the newest Rayman! The new FF intrigues me though ... Next thing I knew, I'd watched from about halfway through to the end, and then started from the beginning and watched to the halfway point again! Anway, the new FF has something they call a 'Gambit' system where you no longer have to wait for the enemies to do anything. It's not by any means an 'adventure' type game, it's still keeping to it's roots, however, with this new system, you set your characters to do certain abilities in order of importance. i.e. you want your healer to attack until one of your guys is below 20% health, then stop everything and heal him/her. .. so basically battles happen MUCH quicker and you no longer have those menus during battle - just before and during your running around.
